Honest Competitor Comparison

GoPerfect charges per open role. HiredAI charges once. Drag the slider to see what that costs you.

GoPerfect built a smart product. Semantic sourcing, inbound resume screening, autonomous outreach across email and LinkedIn — credit where it's due. Then they did something that quietly turns a fair-looking $149 starting price into a budget problem: they charge it per open position, per month. Not per seat. Not flat. Per req.

For a single hiring manager filling one role, that's manageable. For an in-house TA team with 8 open reqs, you're at $1,192-$2,400 a month before anyone has logged in. For a staffing agency running 20 active searches, you're at $3,000-$6,000 a month. And none of that gets you an ATS — GoPerfect integrates with one of your existing 60+ ATS options instead of being one. You're stitching the workflow together yourself.

Then there's HiredAI: $20-$95 a month, total. Unlimited open positions. Sourcing, outreach, AND a full ATS — in one product. This post is the side-by-side. The interactive calculator below shows the gap on your real numbers.

Drag the slider. Watch what GoPerfect's per-position pricing actually costs you.

Active open positions 5roles

5 roles × ~$250/position. Scales linearly with every new req.

HiredAI
$95

Unlimited positions. Sourcing + ATS + automation included.

For comparable sourcing — and you still need to bring your own ATS.

That calculator isn't doing anything clever. It's just doing the multiplication GoPerfect would rather you not do until after you've signed. $250 × 5 roles = $1,250/month. $250 × 10 roles = $2,500/month. The slope is linear and ugly. Meanwhile, HiredAI's price doesn't move whether you're hiring for one role or fifty.

Why per-position pricing is a trap

Per-position pricing sounds reasonable at first. "You only pay for what you're using." But it backfires in three specific ways that hit recruiting teams the hardest.

The Trap
Your bill scales with your problem, not your success.

The more roles you're trying to fill — i.e., the harder your quarter is — the more you pay. A bad month with 12 open reqs costs you twice as much in tools as a slow month with 6. That's exactly backwards from how a SaaS platform should price. You want fixed cost when volume is high, not the other way around.

Two more issues that come up in practice:

It penalizes you for being thorough. Want to keep a passive search going on a critical role you haven't filled yet, while also opening a new req? That's now two active positions billing simultaneously. Want to add a backup search in case your finalist falls through? Three. The pricing model nudges you to close out searches prematurely just to stop the meter.

It hides the real cost until your quarterly review. Per-position pricing looks cheap at "starts at $149." It feels expensive at "we spent $34,000 on it last quarter." The bill compounds quietly, one req at a time, and by the time procurement looks at it the contract is already locked in for the year.

Per-position pricing is the SaaS equivalent of à la carte airline fees. It looks fair until you've added everything you actually need.

The 12-month math, charted

Here's what the cumulative cost looks like over a year for a mid-size recruiting team running 8 active positions on average. The same eight roles. Same outcome. Different bill.

12-month cost: 8 active positions on average
GoPerfect at ~$250/position × 8 = $2,000/month. HiredAI top tier flat at $95/month.
GoPerfect cumulative ($2,000/mo)
HiredAI cumulative ($95/mo)
$24k $18k $12k $6k $0 M1 M2 M3 M4 M5 M6 M7 M8 M9 M10 M11 M12 $24,000 $1,140

That's a $22,860 annual delta. For one team. And it's a conservative estimate — staffing agencies running 15-20 active positions are looking at $45,000-$72,000/year on GoPerfect versus the same flat $1,140 on HiredAI. The number doesn't get smaller as your team grows. It gets worse.

Three real scenarios, three real bills

Forget abstract pricing pages. Here's what each platform costs across three real recruiting team shapes.

Startup
Solo founder hiring engineer #2
Open positions 1
GoPerfect $250/mo
HiredAI $20/mo
You save $2,760/yr
In-House Team
Growing company, 8 open reqs
Open positions 8
GoPerfect $2,000/mo
HiredAI $95/mo
You save $22,860/yr
Staffing Agency
Agency, 20 active searches
Open positions 20
GoPerfect $5,000/mo
HiredAI $95/mo
You save $58,860/yr

None of those calculations include the ATS you'd separately need to buy when running GoPerfect — typically another $6,000-$40,000/year for something like Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby. HiredAI's full ATS is included in that $20-$95/month flat rate. The real gap is even larger than the scenarios show.

The objections you're about to raise

"GoPerfect's autonomous AI is more advanced."

It's a polished product. The autonomous outreach and 1-5 scoring with explainable reasoning are well-designed. But the underlying tech — semantic search over a large candidate index, AI-generated personalized messages, auto-triage — isn't proprietary magic. HiredGPT does plain-language search across 850M+ profiles, and Cortex handles the if-then triage and automated outreach. The gap in actual capability is much smaller than the price gap suggests.

"My team is 5,000 employees — we need enterprise."

Fair. If you're at 5,000+ employees with a 50-person TA team running hundreds of concurrent searches, GoPerfect's enterprise positioning makes sense. They built for that. But that's not most teams reading this. Most teams reading this are 10-500 employees with 3-15 open reqs, and the per-position pricing is just hostile to that shape.

"What about the 60+ ATS integrations?"

If you're already locked into Greenhouse, Lever, Bullhorn, or another enterprise ATS, those integrations matter. But ask yourself: are you paying GoPerfect $2,000/month so it can plug into the $30,000/year ATS you're also paying for? Two SaaS bills, two vendors, two contracts, two integration points to maintain. HiredAI replaces both for $95/month. The "60+ integrations" stops being a feature once you don't need them.

"We tried HiredAI and you don't have feature X."

Probably true in some cases — we're newer, we're building. The right way to evaluate is: does HiredAI do the 80% of recruiting work your team actually does, every day, for 1/20th the cost? For most teams, the answer is yes, with room to grow. Try it for an afternoon before signing GoPerfect's annual contract.

Stop paying per req. Pay once. Hire as many as you want.

When GoPerfect is actually the right call

Honest answer: there's a real fit for GoPerfect. If you're an enterprise TA team at a 5,000+ person company, already deeply embedded in an enterprise ATS like Workday or Greenhouse, with budget allocated for per-position SaaS, and you specifically need their autonomous outreach with hiring goals like "5 interviews in 10 days" — GoPerfect is a credible enterprise choice. Their team is sharp. The product is polished. The integrations are real.

For everyone else — the 10-500 person companies, the staffing agencies, the founders making their first ten hires, the lean recruiting teams who need the whole workflow in one place — the math just doesn't work. Per-position pricing punishes growth. Bring-your-own-ATS multiplies your stack. And for the price of one open req on GoPerfect, you get a full year of HiredAI with everything included.

The 30-second decision tree

The smart recruiting teams in 2026 are doing one thing differently: they're stopping paying per-anything. Per seat, per position, per credit, per InMail — all of it is the SaaS industry's way of letting the price scale invisibly with your success. A flat monthly price is the only model where the tool gets cheaper as you get better at using it. Search the index yourself before you sign anything else.

Start with one req. If we're wrong, you lose an afternoon. If we're right, you save five figures a year.

About this comparison: All GoPerfect pricing and feature data is based on publicly published pricing and product documentation as of Q1 2026, including their starter plan ($149/position/month), typical mid-tier pricing ($250-$300/position/month), and feature documentation. GoPerfect does not have a built-in ATS; they integrate with 60+ third-party ATS systems. We don't link to GoPerfect here because this is a comparison post on our own site; recruiters evaluating both tools can verify the public pricing directly through their preferred search engine. Pricing changes; verify current figures before committing to either platform.
