TRANSLATOR/ INTERPRETER

TRANS GLOBAL PROJECT GROUP is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Translator/Interpreter to facilitate effective communication across multiple languages and cultures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately translating written documents and providing real-time interpretation services to support international projects, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate a wide range of documents, including technical, legal, and business materials, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.

• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, and client interactions.

• Review and edit translated materials for clarity, grammar, and consistency.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure language support aligns with project objectives.

• Develop and maintain glossaries of technical terms and standardized translations.

• Adapt content to suit cultural contexts without altering the original meaning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Translator/Interpreter or similar role.

• Fluency in at least two languages (written and spoken), including English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and linguistic accuracy.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in translation tools and software is a plus.
