Remote Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our remote team. The Data Analyst will collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data to help the company make informed business decisions.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools, and large datasets. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are important for this position.

Responsibilities

1. Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources.
2. Analyze business data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
3. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
4. Use Excel or Google Sheets to analyze and manage datasets.
5. Write SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from databases.
6. Work with internal teams to understand reporting and data requirements.
7. Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies or errors.
8. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
9. Present analytical findings to managers and other stakeholders.
10. Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and analytical processes.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
2. 1–3 years of experience in data analysis or a related position preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
4. Experience with SQL.
5. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
6. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with Python or R.
2. Knowledge of statistical analysis.
3. Experience creating automated reports or dashboards.
4. Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or business intelligence systems.
