RGJ ESQ, A Professional Law Corporation, is seeking a highly experienced Part-Time Contract Attorney specializing in Judgment Enforcement and Creditor’s Remedies to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled attorney to manage complex cases on a project-based, part-time independent contractor basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible for independently managing all facets of judgment enforcement in California, from strategic evaluation to in-person court appearances within Los Angeles County. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented legal professional with a proven track record in creditor’s remedies and post-judgment proceedings. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work on challenging and impactful cases with a supportive team.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Independently handle all aspects of California judgment-enforcement proceedings.
  • Conduct in-person court appearances and hearings in Los Angeles County.
  • Evaluate collectability of judgments and recommend effective enforcement strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive pleadings, writs, and other enforcement documents.
  • Independently manage judgment-debtor examinations.
  • Litigate fraudulent transfer cases and pursue alter-ego enforcement.
  • Implement and manage charging orders, real-property liens, and receiverships.
  • Conduct complex asset discovery to identify debtor assets.
