A community-based teaching hospital in Moultrie, Georgia is seeking full-time General Cardiologists to join its growing cardiovascular program. Both Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiologists are encouraged to apply.

This opportunity offers $480,000–$635,000 annual compensation, 100% participation in practice profits, advanced cardiovascular diagnostic and procedural capabilities, and opportunities to teach medical students and residents.

Position Highlights

3. Open to Invasive and Non-Invasive General Cardiologists
4. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
5. Balanced clinic and procedural responsibilities based on training
6. Approximately 14–20 clinic patients per day
7. Call approximately 7 days per month, shared among cardiologists
8. Additional compensation for extra call coverage
9. Established 155-bed community teaching hospital
10. Opportunities to mentor and precept medical students and residents
11. Early commitment stipend or sign-on bonus available for residents/fellows

Cardiology Services & Procedures

The cardiovascular program offers a broad range of diagnostic and procedural services, including:

1. ECG
2. Holter monitoring
3. Echocardiography
4. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
5. Stress testing
6. Cardiac CT
7. Cardiac MRI
8. Carotid studies
9. Cardiac catheterization
10. Pacemaker implantation
11. ICD implantation
12. Loop recorder placement

Procedural responsibilities will be based on the physician's training, credentials, and invasive or non-invasive practice focus.

Qualifications

1. MD or DO
2. Completion or anticipated completion of a Cardiology fellowship
3. Board Certified or Board Eligible
4. Board certification required within five years if initially board eligible

6. Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility accepted where applicable
7. Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiologists are both encouraged to apply
