What You’ll Do

As a foundational Software/Backend Engineer, you’ll design and implement the scalable systems that power our core product. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own critical components of our infrastructure and directly influence our technical direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect Scalable Solutions: Craft high-performance, reusable backend systems that can grow with our user base and evolving needs.

Own Infrastructure & Deployment: Take charge of planning, deploying, and managing the infrastructure that enables rapid development, testing, and seamless deployment.

Ensure Data Integrity & Security: Implement top-tier security protocols and compliance measures to protect user data and maintain trust.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with frontend, product, and data teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Tackle Complex Challenges: Dive into tough engineering problems daily, working alongside a talented team to find elegant, effective solutions.

Who You Are

You’re a full stack/backend expert who loves to build. You thrive in high-expectation environments and are excited to turn bold ideas into robust, production-ready systems.

Your Experience & Background:

6–10 years as a Backend or Full-Stack Engineer, with a proven track record of building scalable, reliable backends for complex applications.

Deep expertise in Python and/or Go, with hands-on experience designing and optimizing backend architecture.

Familiarity with Next.js/TypeScript on the frontend, demonstrating a strong grasp of the full stack.

Experience at top-tier tech companies (e.g., Gong, Circleback AI, Apollo, Clay) known for engineering excellence and product ownership.

Recent hands-on coding and architecture experience within the last three years.

Technical Skills: Mastery of React, Next.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), Python, and AWS.

Bonus: Experience integrating products with Large Language Models (LLMs).

Solid understanding of SDLC best practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, and comprehensive testing.
