A leading specialty metals manufacturer is seeking a Corporate Preventive Maintenance Engineer to lead its Asset Reliability Management Program (ARMP) across all U.S. facilities.


This high-impact, corporate-level role will direct preventive maintenance strategy, reliability initiatives, and performance tracking to ensure consistency, efficiency, and uptime across the company’s operations. The Corporate Preventive Maintenance Engineer will oversee site-level reliability teams, develop maintenance best practices, and ensure that all programs align with company standards and safety requirements.

This operation serves as the corporate headquarters and a core production site for one of the industry’s most advanced specialty steel manufacturers. The facility produces high-performance alloys and stainless steels through state-of-the-art melting, refining, and finishing processes.


Products manufactured in Bridgeville and its sister facilities serve critical industries including aerospace, power generation, oil & gas, and heavy equipment. With vertically integrated operations and world-class quality systems, the company continues to set the standard for specialty steel innovation, precision, and reliability.


Responsibilities


-Lead and oversee the company’s Asset Reliability Management Program (ARMP) across all sites to improve equipment uptime and maintenance consistency.


-Manage and mentor three Preventive Maintenance Engineers, ensuring successful deployment of reliability and maintenance strategies at each location.


-Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance performance, preventive compliance, and equipment availability.


-Drive corporate-wide initiatives including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), autonomous maintenance programs, outage planning, and long-term reliability improvement projects.


-Partner with corporate engineering and site leadership to develop preventive maintenance best practices and standardized documentation.


-Ensure all preventive maintenance activities meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.


-Develop and distribute maintenance guidance documents, procedures, and training materials.


-Regularly travel to all company facilities to evaluate program performance, share best practices, and support on-site maintenance teams.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments; steelmaking preferred.
  • Proven experience implementing Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engineering teams and projects across multiple locations.
