Role: - Contract Program Manager Location: - Vandenberg, CA Client: - USSF Job Description: Education/certifications mandatory:- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT Management, or related field • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, SAFe Agile Certification (or equivalent). Work experience mandatory:- • 10+ years of experience in program management, including 5+ years managing DoD/USSF contracts. • Demonstrated leadership experience in Agile project management, DevSecOps environments, or DoD IT service contracts. • Expertise in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile program execution. • Strong working knowledge of DoD acquisition, IT service management, and classified system operations. • Familiarity with ATLAS monitoring system, Tiered IT support structures (Tier 1-3), and network security compliance. Work experience nice to have:- • Experience working with USSF, SSC, or other space-related DoD programs. • Previous program management experience under an OASIS+ Small Business contract vehicle. Roles and responsibilities:- • Program Management & Leadership: Lead contract execution, ensure alignment with mission objectives, and maintain strict adherence to security protocols. • Agile-Based Performance Management & Reporting: Utilize JIRA, Confluence, and DevSecOps tools for tracking and reporting. • Personnel & Operations Management: Oversee Tier 1 Help Desk, Tier 2/3 support teams, and infrastructure management personnel. • Stakeholder & Government Engagement: Lead monthly PMRs, participate in planning sessions, and provide strategic recommendations. • Risk Management & Security Compliance: Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with security directives. • Contract Transition & Closeout: Develop a transition plan to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities.
