Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and provide feeding assistance, supporting proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Complete light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and general tidying.
  • Assist with client mobility and transfers, actively supporting fall prevention and other safety measures.
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to enhance client well-being.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities as assigned.
  • Document services provided and accurately report any changes in a client’s condition to agency staff.
  • Offer respite care and essential support for family caregivers.
