Job Description

Yale Financial Services Inc. is seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative / Office Assistant to join our Bedford office. The ideal candidate speaks English and Spanish, provides excellent customer service, stays organized, and is comfortable communicating with current and prospective customers. Insurance experience and an active Texas Property and Casualty license are preferred, but we may provide licensing support to the right candidate. Responsibilities: - Answer telephone calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally. - Welcome customers and assist with front-office needs. - Collect accurate information for auto, home, renters, and commercial insurance quotes. - Prepare quotes and discuss insurance options when properly licensed and authorized. - Follow up with new leads, existing customers, renewals, cancellations, and outstanding documents. - Process policy changes, payments, applications, and customer-service requests. - Schedule insurance, tax-preparation, and notary appointments. - Maintain accurate customer records and protect confidential information. - Contact customers regarding upcoming renewals and payment due dates. - Cross-sell insurance, tax-preparation, and notary services. - Perform general office duties, including scanning, filing, data entry, and document preparation. - Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office. Qualifications: - Fluent in English and Spanish. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong customer-service and telephone skills. - Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented. - Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online business systems. - Able to multitask and follow up consistently. - Comfortable discussing services and converting inquiries into customers. - Previous insurance, tax-office, banking, sales, or administrative experience is preferred. - Active Texas Property and Casualty license is strongly preferred. - Candidates without a license must be willing and eligible to complete the licensing process.
