About the Role

CLIENT is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky to join its growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney to gain hands-on experience in mortgage foreclosure, creditor rights, and collections litigation while working in a collaborative, high-volume legal environment.


You’ll work alongside experienced attorneys, develop courtroom exposure, and build a strong legal foundation in a firm known for professionalism and client service.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a portfolio of foreclosure and collections matters
  2. Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
  3. Represent clients in court hearings (as applicable)
  4. Ensure compliance with state and federal legal requirements
  5. Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and internal teams
  6. Maintain organized case files and meet strict deadlines
  7. Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff in a team-driven environment


Requirements (Must-Haves)

  1. Active Bar Licenses in BOTH Ohio & Kentucky (required)
  2. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  4. Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  6. Professionalism and client-focused mindset


Preferred Qualifications

  1. 0–3 years of experience (entry-level friendly)
  2. Internship, clerkship, or coursework in:
  3. Foreclosure law
  4. Collections
  5. Civil litigation
  6. Courtroom exposure is a plus (not required)
