Role

Serve as the enterprise technical authority and strategist for AI developer enablement within the DevSecOps Platform team. In this high-impact role, you will define enterprise strategy for AI-assisted tooling, own the GitHub platform ecosystem, and partner across Information Security, Privacy, and Enterprise Architecture to drive safe, scalable software development.

Location: Greensboro, NC (Flexible / Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Tooling: Define enterprise strategy and conduct hands-on proofs-of-concept for AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
2. Platform Governance: Manage GitHub Enterprise and AI developer tools, establishing standards, security guardrails, lifecycle management, and cost/chargeback models.
3. Developer Advocacy: Lead training, documentation, and communities of practice to drive adoption and represent developer needs across the organization.
4. Impact Measurement: Define and track productivity metrics to measure the impact of AI tooling on delivery speed, code quality, and ROI.

Qualifications

1. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/CIS (or equivalent experience) plus 10+ years in software development.
2. Leadership: Minimum 4 years in a technical leadership role driving strategy and cross-functional alignment.
3. SDLC Expertise: Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise solutions across the SDLC.
4. Core Skills: Deep knowledge of DevSecOps, GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD, cloud architectures, and AI developer tools.
