Electrical Engineer – Team Lead

Build the Infrastructure Behind the Buildings

What makes this role worth your time?

You’ll step into a brand new lead role in electrical system design for complex, high-visibility projects—education, commercial, aviation, healthcare, civic, and more. If you’ve ever wanted to see your design work integrated across full building systems, this is the opportunity. You’ll own the design, interact across disciplines, and have a direct line to the client and project stakeholders.

What’s In It for You

  • Direct client access and real ownership over your work - not just redlines
  • A collaborative team with plumbing, HVAC, and architectural disciplines under one roof
  • Stability from a well-established, multidisciplinary firm
  • Great career growth potential
  • Consistent pipeline of unique and exciting projects - no shortage of variety

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing precise, code-compliant power, lighting, and special system designs.
  • Interfacing with mechanical and plumbing teams for integrated building performance
  • Leading electrical components of multi-discipline projects and mentoring junior staff
  • Occasionally managing client communication and participating in design charrettes

What You Bring

  • 8 years of Electrical design experience with commercial buildings
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of COMcheck, SKM, Visual
  • Able to identify codes in various project jurisdictions
  • P.E.

Nice to Have

  • Experience mentoring junior designers or engineers
  • Experience with plumbing and mechanical systems

Note

This role is focused on electrical building systems design (not utility-scale or electronics). If you come from a background in architecture-adjacent engineering work, you’ll likely hit the ground running.
